A 20-year-old man, named Lingaraju S, in Vijaypura has proved to be luckier than the proverbial cat with nine lives after he remained alive in spite of being bitten by snakes several times. In fact, he was attacked by four snakes, including two king cobras in the last one month alone.

he young man comes from a poor family and lives in Vijayapura.
He was first bitten about five years ago in Solapur, where he lived with his family. Subsequently, he was bitten seven more times. His worried parents consulted a doctor who put him on medication for over six months.
